Our large, Private Home with 10 private rooms, offers enough space to social distance while still providing a sense of community. We believe our setting of only 10 residents and consistent, well trained staff, helps mitigate against the spread of Covid 19.
Our MD & RN make frequent assessments and provide continued education and training to our staff on infection control strategies and have implemented procedures to reduce the risks spreading infection. Having a Geriatric MD, On Site, to assess residents & coordinate medical care, helps reduce risks associated with traveling outside for unnecessary follow up appointments and reduces the need for ER & Hospital visits during the pandemic. State Licensed
Nevada is unique among other states in having a well-established statewide system of minimum required regulations. Beyond having the minimum set of regulations, Nevada has a well-defined complaint and enforcement system at HCQC for licensed Group Homes, Residential Care and Alzheimer’s Care Homes.
The state also offers a grading system that allows consumers to compare all licensed homes. We are proud to be one of only a few that have always achieved an A grade. We do note that while the grade is a good indicator it does not measure coordination of care more broadly. Having medical trained owners who are a value-added service, even if the states minimum requirements do not require medical backgrounds for owners and managers, is our greatest strength.
