Independent Senior Living

Independent Senior Living is known as 55 + senior communities. Also, known as Retirement Communities & Retirement Living. Here seniors are independent and able to manage their affairs.  They do not need assistance.

As a result, seniors play golf and enjoy the amenities offered.  Events & group trips are available.  These communities are different than Assisted Living Facilities.

Assisted Living Facilities do offer services beyond meals, housekeeping & activities.  Personal care assistance is available for a fee. The state provides over site at these facilities.

Independent Communities typically do not provide services.  Likewise, there is no over site by the state.  Either are good options but depend on life circumstances
