Our TLC Story
Tender Loving Care Senior Living (TLCSL) is owned and operated by a Multi-Generational family. This family have had long passion to help people that started when she was young and helped with her brothers care, who had a disability, when he suffered an accident. We have been exposed at an early age to the joys and frustrations that come from caring for your loved ones at home.
We have gained new perspectives and experiences as adults caring for our own loved ones when the time came that they were no longer able to care for themselves. This included Cancer, Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
We have experienced the frustrations of the health care system when interacting on behalf and caring for our own friends and family as direct caregivers. We believe that direct caregiver experience gives us a unique perspective other managers, administrators and professionals often lack.
Feeling Frustrated & Burned Out?
As family caregivers we are often thrown into the role of care giver unexpectedly. We often are not prepared & have little ability to plan for it. It is common for a spouse or family caregiver to try to keep their loved one at home, but is this really the best plan for all involved?
